I began my career on stage as an actress and media creator, mastering presence, purposeful communication, and holding space — skills I now bring to every client.
Later, I worked in leadership roles across industries, from tech to media, like Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA and its Division RTL Deutschland, ProSiebenSat.1, and Atos SE  and founded a startup.

Since 2023, I’ve also been a lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, where I teach Change Management and Quality Management.

Oh yes, I’ve been fired, underestimated, silenced — and much more.
And yet, I came back — stronger and clearer.

Yes, I’ve worked under erratic and even toxic managers, who were not only arrogant, but also condescending — constantly sucking up to their superiors while treating their subordinates poorly.

At times, I was dismissed for asking “why” — even when my questions came with better solutions.
And I’ve seen boardrooms ignore me simply because I was a woman.

Back then, I didn’t understand the unwritten rules:
You have to learn who’s really in charge, when to speak and when to stay quiet, and how to play the game — because understanding these things can make or break your career.

Over time, as I mastered those dynamics and chose to lead differently,
I realized this is what fuels my work today as a truthful and empowered Communication and Leadership Coach: helping others navigate high-stakes environments without losing their voice, their values, or their integrity.

As you can imagine, I didn’t always get it right.
For instance, after work, I sometimes numbed out with champagne just to cope.
At times, I battled imposter syndrome — questioning whether I even belonged — a former actress who had somehow stumbled into strategy.

However, those struggles eventually became my greatest edge, especially as a truthful and empowered Communication and Leadership Coach.
Because I understand what it feels like to doubt yourself and still walk into the room.
More importantly, I’ve learned how to turn being underestimated into fuel for authentic, impactful leadership.

I don’t just talk about clarity — I practice it. Again and again.

I actually never planned to become a Communication and Leadership Coach.

But somewhere between being underestimated, silenced, and burned out, I realized:
The system is broken.

Most leaders aren’t bad people — they’re just thrown into leadership without preparation.
Pressure from above. Resistance from below. And somewhere in the middle, they lose themselves.

They’re handed outdated leadership rules:

But deep down, they know something’s off.
They feel torn between their values and their role.
Over time, many — especially women — start believing they’re the problem.

But they’re not.
What’s broken is the belief that good leadership equals the loudest, toughest, and sometimes the most aggressive voice in the room.

As a Communication and Leadership Coach, I help leaders dismantle that myth — showing them how influence, trust, and lasting impact come not from volume or force, but from clarity, empathy, and alignment with their core values.

I still remember sitting at my desk, reading “The 48 Laws of Power”.
Back then, everyone around me treated it like gospel.

Yet with every page, I felt it in my gut:
This wasn’t leadership — it was control through fear and ego.
Although I knew how the game worked, I simply didn’t want to play it.

Then came the moment that changed everything.

One day, a manager pulled me aside and said:
“Here’s the new team member. Get rid of her. Everyone complains — she’s a problem.”

But instead of following orders, something in me refused.
Rather than pushing her out, I chose empathy. I listened.

What I discovered was a woman on the edge of burnout — talented, but crushed under impossible expectations.
So, we rebuilt her role and gave her the space she needed to recover.
Over time, she became one of our top performers.

That experience proved something no textbook will ever teach you:
Empathy isn’t soft. It’s a strategic, competitive advantage — one that transforms teams, strengthens trust, and fuels sustainable results.

This is exactly what I bring to the table as a truthful, empowered, and empathy-driven Communication and Leadership Coach — helping leaders create environments where people can perform at their best without losing their well-being or their humanity.

My work — and my life — are shaped by curiosity, contrast, and a multicultural perspective.
Similarly, my circle of friends is as diverse as their perspectives.

I carry both worlds: the stillness of the sea and the spotlight of the stage,
quiet hours of research and the fire of exchanging ideas with brilliant minds.
Rather than choosing between presence and depth, I build bridges between them.

In 2019, I launched the German podcast Starke Frauen with Cathrin Jacob —
a project that has since grown into an archive of powerful female voices and stories.

I live in Hamburg, Germany, where my life is a mix of stillness and energy:
deep conversations, karaoke nights, and long walks by the Baltic Sea with my husband and our two French bulldogs —
or simply winding down the day on the terrace, taking it all in.
